Harriet Ormrod - Online Memorial Website

Gran met grandad many years ago at a bike shop, they soon married and had three lovly daughters, Marion, Ann and June.  Sadly Marion passed away before her first birthday.  Harriet was left alone whilst Arthur went to serve for his Country in the Second World War.  Shewas helped by her dad, who although had poor sight was a great help to Harriet during these difficult and lonely times.  Gran spoke fondly of the war times and friends neighbour and families rallying through difficult times.  Grans cheery nature got her through many situations in her lifetime, and was the head of our family, and was a lovely happy fun lovnig caring lady.  Ann had 6 children Wayne, Tracey, Warren, Sharon, Scott and Julie, June had three children Darren, Dawn and June.  The grandchildren went on to make Harriet a great-gran of Gemma, Darren, Leanne, Emma, Dean, Nikki, Sophie, Kirsty, Stacey, Keiron, Becky, Grant, Luke, Lewis, Marshall, Danyel, Bethany and George.  Kirsy also made Gran a great-great gran of Maddison.  She is also a great-great gran to bay Jack who she sadly died before seeing.  She made growing up fun for us all, and we could all talk to her about absolutely anything.
